Whatcom Museum Fan Zone Fridays

Kick off the summer of soccer with two Free Fridays at the Whatcom Museum — full of soccer-themed crafts and activities for the whole family.

Snag a free FIFA World Cup mini soccer ball or screen-printed bag at our themed giveaways, meet local soccer players, and compete in soccer ball juggling competitions for prizes.

On each day, Mallard Ice Cream will be in the courtyard scooping up sweet treats while we screen current matches in the Old City Hall Rotunda Room. Stop by to beat the heat and play together at the museum this June.

Starts: June 12, 2026

Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
