Beach Clean Up with Bellingham SeaFeast

Join us on Saturday, May 30th for a community beach cleanup! We’ll meet at the Squalicum Beach parking lot (additional parking is available along Seaview), then walk through the Mount Baker Products business parking lot to a nearby beach that regularly collects marine debris and trash.

This is a great opportunity to make a real impact by helping remove plastics and other waste from our local waterways before they can harm marine life and the Salish Sea ecosystem. Please bring closed-toe shoes and dress for Northwest weather — rain, sun, wind, or cold. We’ll provide gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, and cleanup supplies.

Starts: May 30, 2026

Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Admission: Free!

Location: In Front of 2999 Roeder Ave in Bellingham, WA

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
