Babes in Arms: Summer Brewery Meet-Up for New Parents

Join Whatcom Family Village every Monday evening from 4:30–6:30 PM this Summer as we take over a different local brewery each week for a laid-back, baby-on-your-lap kind of hangout. No agenda. No pressure. Just good people, cold drinks, and the relief of being around other parents who get it.

Each stop on the Babies in Arms tour features $1 off beers — because you've earned it. Nobody warned you that new parenthood could feel this isolating. You love your baby fiercely — and you're also spending a lot of time alone on the couch, wondering if anyone else is feeling this way too. They are. Come find your village.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
