Battle on the Bay Regatta

Ready to put your sailing skills to the test? Join the Community Boating Center for the Battle on the Bay Regatta, a fun and competitive day of racing on Bellingham Bay. Sailors will compete in RS Quests, RS Teras, Lasers, and Hansa 303s, with races designed for experienced skippers who have passed a CBC skills test. Community sailors with approved personal boats are also welcome to participate.

Whether you're racing for the podium or simply looking to enjoy a day on the water with fellow sailors, Battle on the Bay is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, connect with the local sailing community, and celebrate another season on the bay. The day concludes with an awards ceremony recognizing top performers.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
