Coastal Wildcrafting: Stick, Stone, Shell, & Bone with Northwest Natura
Join Salish Sea naturalist, Jazmen Yoder for a day on the beach to learn about tideland organisms, coastal ecology, and stewardship practices while we prepare to create a hanging ornament made from stones, shells, wood, and other materials that can be ethically and legally sourced from nature. You can make whatever you want, but instructions will be on how to craft a shell mobile.
Bring your own sun catching prisms, crystals, and special pieces from home. Materials to attach and piece together your treasures will be provided. Meet new people, find community, and have an absolutely beautiful day on the beach together. Please register via event website.
