Whatcom Young Professionals: August Social

Escape to the coast with Whatcom Young Professionals for a summer sunset at Semiahmoo Resort! Join us for an evening on the beach with a private fire area, s’mores, drinks, and good company.

We’ll have a private beachside fire area set up just for our group, complete with a propane fire table and everything you need to make your own s’mores. A cash bar will also be available on the beach throughout the evening.

Semiahmoo’s onsite restaurant, Packers, will be open for dinner and offer to-go options that you can enjoy outside. Since the restaurant is expecting a large group that evening, we recommend ordering food early in the event or making a reservation for after the Social to avoid a long wait. You’re also welcome to stick around and enjoy dinner at Packers after the event!

Come soak up the last stretch of summer, catch a sunset, and enjoy a laid-back evening with some of Whatcom County’s coolest young professionals.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
