Botanical Printing on Paper Workshop

Workshop with Wanda Johanson and Wendy Pare. In this hands-on class, students will transfer the colors and imprints of leaves and flowers onto paper using mordants and heat. Results using different papers, techniques, and uses for printed papers will be discussed and demonstrated. Additionally, students will be given the opportunity to complete a simple project, such as a lantern or origami item using provided botanical prints. 

Materials fee: $20 (paid to instructor at the time of class). All materials are included with the materials fee. Students may optionally bring a few leaves or flowers from their gardens to try eco printing.
