The Salmon Seeker’s Guide to Whatcom County

You can see salmon all over the PNW, from Seattle’s Pike Place Market to local artwork and murals, but unless you know where and when to look you may never see them out in the wild! So…where are they? 

In this lunch & learn session, we will showcase some publicly available online resources that you can use to better understand where and when you can see salmon in Whatcom County this fall. We will also cover the basics of how to identify the different species of Pacific salmon, a brief overview of the different watersheds near us, and how you can support the recovery of wild salmon for future generations.
