Lightweight Champion and Hannah Wyatt at Honey Moon Mead

Hannah Wyatt is an indie-folk singer/songwriter with a dark Americana edge. New album "Sunday Cowboy" out now.

Lightweight Champion is an alt-country trio based out of Seattle and Port Townsend, WA. The band's sound comprises compelling indie songwriting and lyricism with a twangy edge. The band released their first EP, “Valley,” on Seattle cassette label Den Tapes in April 2023.

2024/2025 marked a number of landmarks for the band - several shows in the greater Pacific Northwest, including Astoria, Port Townsend, Chimacum, and Bellingham; a 10-day tour packed with 9 shows between Seattle and Bozeman; and the recording of the band's first full-length album. Recent singles “Battery” and “Quarterback,” released in June 2026, are out now wherever you listen to music.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
