Intermediate Jewelry Class: Metalsmithing Mastery
In this 2-day workshop, students will learn traditional metalsmithing techniques, including hammering, forming, and setting. The workshop will focus on how to create textured and organic jewelry designs, the process of transforming raw materials into refined, handcrafted pieces, and the importance of craftsmanship, material integrity, and attention to detail.
Tamara Kelly's teaching philosophy will ensure students dive deep into creative expression through metalwork and develop confidence at the bench to gain both technical skills and creative inspiration while learning how to balance strength and elegance in jewelry design.
Materials Fees: $75.00 paid to the instructor by the first day of class. Materials to Bring: Apron, notebook, pen or pencil, stones you would like to incorporate into your design, any metal you would like to work with, inspiration photos or design ideas. Tools and additional materials will be available during the workshop.
