Chorus Girl Academy - Stompin' at the Savoy

If you love the dancing in old movies, can't keep from tapping your toes to vintage jazz music, or have longed to dance in a group of like-minded chorus girl souls, then this series is for you!

Vintage Rhythm and The Rhythm Belles are hosting a 4-week class series starting October 11, 2026 where students will learn an original chorus girl choreography. No prior dance experience is necessary!

For this round of the Chorus Girl Academy, students will learn a fun and jazzy routine to the song "Stompin' at the Savoy" by Benny Goodman. Students will also have the opportunity to perform this routine at the end of the series at The Rhythm Belles' Decade of Dance, 10 Year Anniversary event on November 7th. Performing isn't required, but it sure is fun and we highly encourage it!

Class registration includes admission to the Decade of Dance event (a $30 value). If cost is prohibitive for you, please contact us for a potential scholarship at vintagerhythmdance@gmail.com.
