A Decade of Dance: The Rhythm Belles 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Rhythm Belles are celebrating 10 years of dancing, and you are invited to the party!

We will be swingin' the night away to the jazz tunes of the early 20th century. The dance floor will be open for solo and partner dancing to the live music of The Yeti Chaser Trio, drinks will be available at the bar, a photo booth will be ready to capture your classy cocktail attire, and, of course, throughout the evening, Bellingham's very own vintage dance troupe, The Rhythm Belles, will be performing a variety of classic and classy routines!

Be sure to come dressed to impress in your finest 1920's to 1950's cocktail attire for a chance to win our best dressed contest (vintage edition). If you are new to vintage dancing, show up early at 6:00 pm for the dance lesson included with admission. Then get out on the dance floor when the band starts playing at 6:30 pm or mingle with your friends while you soak in the ambiance. Just be sure you are settled in and ready for the first performance at 7:15.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
