Speaker: Pam Borso Topic: “Harnessing the Power of AI and Apps On Your Smart Phone for Garden and Plant Use.” The third meeting of the Birchwood Garden Club’s 2026-2027 season will be held on November 4, 2026, in the Rotunda Room of the Old City Hall Museum, 121 Prospect St., Bellingham, WA 98225. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Our speaker for the evening will be Pam Borso, who will talk about harnessing the power of AI and apps on your smart phone for garden and plant use. Pam will compare and contrast various plant identification apps by explaining their efficiency and how to best use them. Pam is a Native Plant Steward and is active in the local Audubon Society. She’s spoken to our Club before about supporting birds in the landscape. Pam uses iNaturalist for plant identification in the wild and will explain the benefits of alternative applications for garden use. Now is the time for the savvy gardener to learn the magic of apps for better plant identification and management. Winter is a good time to practice. Please join us!
