This book is a concise history of racism, written by a white man who spent a lifetime trying to understand racism before he found that history held the key. This book shows that racism is not a natural response to human differences. It was man-made deliberately implemented and carefully nurtured. It is an illness that has been passed down for generations; and continues to infect every one of us and all of our
institutions.
John Lovchik has been an anti-racism activist for more than twenty years as a member of a number of white collectives and people of color led organizations.
