Free Santa Photos, Carolers Coming to Christmastime at Bellewood

Free Santa photos, carolers and s’mores around the bonfire are being offered during Christmastime at Bellewood starting Dec. 2.

Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery is offering opportunities to take free photos of loved ones with Santa, ideal for sharing on cards and social media. Santa will be available at Bellewood Farms from noon-4 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday in December leading up to Christmas Eve (sorry, Santa has deliveries to make that day!).

“Photos are perfect for connecting with others and sharing the joy of the holiday season,” said Eric Abel, president of Bellewood Farms & Distillery.

Carolers and musicians will perform periodically during store hours from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Attendees also may purchase warm cider, adult beverages and s’more kits to enjoy around Bellewood’s bonfires.

And everything smells better with freshly cut Christmas trees. Beautiful Firs, Nobles and Frasers from Alpine Meadows Christmas Tree Farm near Deming are available. Bellewood Farms also offers gifts, apples from the recent harvest and an expanded array of fresh-baked goods, including pies, scones, cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls and macaroons. Adults may head to the distillery’s tasting room and sample the Bellewood Farms Holiday Cinnamon Vodka.

Bellewood Farms is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at 6140 Guide Meridian, about 7 miles from Bellingham, Ferndale and Lynden. For more information about Bellewood Farms, call (360) 318-7720 or visit www.bellewoodfarms.com.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
