If you have trouble agreeing on what activity to do, then Ski to Sea in the race for you. Launched in 1973, Ski to Sea is a multisport relay race (May 27 this year) that brings at an elevation of 7,300 feet at Washington's Mount Baker ski area in the Cascade Range. Read full story here.
