Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Uisce Irish Pub in Bellingham

Uisce Irish Pub brought a wee bit of Ireland to Bellingham when it opened on March 17, 2006, and happy crowds have been celebrating St. Patrick's Day there ever since. Where else can you find a properly poured Guinness Stout, along with Smithwick's Irish Ale, Harp Lager, and local, regional and imported craft brews (none of which are green)?

Or if you're more into Irish whiskeys (or is that "whiskies"?) and Scotches, Uisce (pronounced "ISH-kah") has a fantastic selection from which to choose for those all-important "Slaintes" when toasting St. Patrick and your Irish (or just for a day) buddies.

Whether you curl up by the fireplace or belly up to the bar, Uisce is the place to be most any time—but especially around St. Patrick's Day.
You see, St. Patrick's Day isn't only about the drinks. A proper celebration must include the right ambiance, like authentic Irish music. Each year, Uisce brings together bands like Gallowglass, the Penny Stinkers and Devilly Brothers, along with duo Paedar MacMahon and Bruce Shaw. Traditional Irish tunes and folk music will liven up the pub and inspire you to sing or tap along.

Open at Noon on St. Paddy's Day
And it wouldn't be St. Patrick's Day at Uisce without high-flying Irish step dancers, and the stirring sounds of pipes and drums. This year, you'll get all that, and then some. Uisce opens at noon on Tuesday, March 17, and the music starts at 1:00. Plus, everyone can partake of the festivities when the block closes to traffic at 6:00 p.m. with food trucks (including Streat Food!) and more fun out front. It's a bigger, better format, that authentically Irish owner Molly McGarry is super-excited about! And you should be, too.
