Lynden Music Festival 2018 Welcomes YouTube Sensation

This year the Lynden Music Festival welcomes YouTube star Matthew Ball, aka The Boogie Woogie Kid, who became a hit on YouTube with now over 4.2 million views, on Thursday, Oct. 11, 6 - 8 p.m. at the Jansen Art Center. Ball is known best as the attorney turned musician whose playing has earned him descriptions like “Awesome”, “Crushing”, "Fantastic” and dubbed him “The Fastest Fingers in the Mid-west.” Additional reviews say:

Joined by Lynden’s own drummer extraordinaire Victor Pruner, Matthew presents a family-friendly program of Piano—Song--Boogie-n-Blues favorites from the 20's, 30's, and 40's with arrangements of classic American songs like Ain't Misbehavin, When the Saints Go Marchin In, Careless Love, Basin Street Blues, You Are my Sunshine, It Had to be You, Glory of Love, Just a Closer Walk with Thee, Bumble Boogie, The Entertainer, Glory of Love, and more.
