Are you a fan of fine art? Then come on down to Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen (601 West Holly St) from May 27 to July 15 to view a new installation of work done by Jill Feenstra. The paintings and prints will surely be a treat to see and appreciate while you enjoy a cold glass or two of award-winning beer. Local artist Jill Feenstra creates art that tries to capture “life’s fleeting beauty and strength in fragility”. Her work’s inspiration ranges from people, animals, and automobiles, with her most recent explorations being more abstract. She continues to expand on her abilities and techniques tirelessly in her studio, on a small farm in Ferndale. With lots of light and color, her pieces capture a spirit full of interesting detail and energy.
