New Days and Times at the Whatcom Museum's Family Interactive Gallery

The Whatcom Museum is excited to announce that starting Thursday, November 4, the Family Interactive Gallery (FIG) will be open extended days and times! Our new hours will be Thursdays-Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sundays from Noon- 5 p.m.

The FIG remains at 30% capacity, and masks are required for all visitors regardless of vaccination status. We continue to encourage social distancing, as well as maintain cleaning procedures, and have hand sanitizing stations throughout the space. Reservations are not required.

The FIG is located inside the Museum's Lightcatcher building, 250 Flora Street. For more info about visiting the FIG, visit our website or call the FIG message line at 360.778.8974.

We're dedicated to ensuring visitors have an enjoyable, educational experience in the safest way possible. Please see our COVID-19 response page for a full list of safety protocols.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
