Northwest Washington Fair Announces New Bag Check Procedures for the 2026 Fair
The Northwest Washington Fair is introducing new bag-check procedures for the 2026 Fair as part of its ongoing efforts to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, exhibitors, volunteers, staff, and vendors.
Beginning August 13, all bags entering the Fairgrounds will be inspected by security personnel at each Fair entry gate throughout the 10-day Fair. The new procedure is intended to enhance safety while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone attending the event.
To help keep entry lines moving efficiently, guests are encouraged to have their bags open and ready for inspection as they approach the gates.
Outside food, snacks, and beverages are still welcome at the Fair. This policy has not changed.
Guests are also encouraged to review the Guest Code of Conduct on the Northwest Washington Fair website before arriving. The Guest Code of Conduct includes a list of prohibited items, along with other important information to help guests plan an enjoyable Fair experience. It can be found at nwwafair.com/guestcodeofconduct
Questions or concerns about the new bag-check procedures can be directed to the Fair Office at 360-354-4111. The Fair Office is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM before the Fair and is open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM all 10 days of the event.
The Northwest Washington Fair appreciates the continued support and cooperation of the community and looks forward to welcoming guests August 13-22, 2026, at the Northwest Washington Fair.
