Birch Bay Waterslides, NOW OPEN

Birch Bay Waterslides Reopens Just in Time for Father’s Day Weekend!

Birch Bay Waterslides is thrilled to announce our official grand re-opening this Saturday, June 14, just in time to kick off Father’s Day Weekend and a season full of summer fun!

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2025, we’re excited to welcome families back to a park that’s been lovingly refreshed over the past year. Guests can look forward to a variety of renovated attractions, upgraded amenities, and exciting new additions—including our brand-new private cabanas and the highly anticipated debut of our official mascot, Slider!

To celebrate Father’s Day, we’re offering a special promotion this Sunday, June 15—Dads get in FREE when accompanied by their family! It’s our way of saying thank you to all the amazing fathers out there.

This summer, thrill seekers should watch for the return of the legendary Hydro Cliff Drop Out Slide—a heart pounding 55-foot free-fall experience making its comeback!

We’re also rolling out a completely refreshed food and beverage lineup featuring smash burgers, world-famous Nathan’s hot dogs, and our newest sweet treat—the Strawberry Splash Funnel Cake! Plus, we’re proud to announce our exciting new partnership with Sahara Pizza, serving hot, delicious pies all season long from our newest restaurant Hungry Otter, open to park guests and remember no outside food allowed into the park.

And for adults looking to cool off, be sure to visit the all-new Barnacle Bar, opening soon this summer—your go-to spot for cold drinks and waterfront vibes.

To make the most of your visit, we recommend purchasing tickets and reserving cabanas online to skip the lines and enjoy more time in the park. Season passes and daily admission are still available, with special promotional pricing on select days throughout the summer. For the latest updates, follow us on social media or check our Park Updates page at BirchBayWaterslides.net. Come celebrate the return of sunshine, slides, and smiles at Birch Bay Waterslides. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
