Blue Skies for Children announces their 3rd Annual “Summer Fun” Spring Raffle. Launched during the pandemic, the Spring Raffle has become a mainstay of the organization’s fundraising campaigns and a fun opportunity for community members to take their chance on three fabulous prizes while providing financial support of Blue Skies’ valuable work.
This year’s raffle, sponsored by BP, features three prizes valued at over $1,000 each.
- Fly Away Package featuring (2) roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines and a $250 travel wardrobe Gift Card from Quinn + Foster. Value $2,750
- Summer Grillin’ Package featuring a Traeger Grill donated by DeWaard & Bode and meats from Hemplers Meats and Isernios, grill tools and more. Value $1,400
- Family Fun Package featuring (4) Mariners Tickets courtesy of BP, a 20-person Party Pack from Flatstick Pub, a Majestic Adventures birthday party, Woodland Park Zoo tickets and a Turner Photographic family portrait session. Value $1,270
Raffle tickets are $25 each and are available for purchase from April 1-30. Tickets can be purchased at the Blue Skies for Children Office. In addition, Blue Skies is being hosted by several community partners to sell tickets and share information about our organization.
For the first time in three years, we are hosting a Live Drawing on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Twin Sisters Brewing from 5-7pm. We will draw all winners at 6:30pm and share via Facebook Live. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Established in 1997, Blue Skies was created out of a need in our local community. In 2002, Blue Skies became a 501(c)(3) and hired its first executive director. Its mission is to raise hope and self-esteem by sponsoring enrichment programs and other essentials for homeless, low-income, and foster children in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
