Chuckanut Brewery Celebrates St Patrick’s Day

Corned Beef, Cabbage, Stout, Irish music, these are all-time favorites on St Patrick’s Day at Chuckanut Brewery in Bellingham, Washington. This year Chuckanut Brewery will be celebrating with joy St Patrick’s Day 2021 because both locations will be open!

Last year March 17, 2020, Chuckanut, along with other breweries, pubs, restaurants and taprooms, was shut down due to the start of Covid-19! But with Covid numbers mellowing out both North and South Nut breweries will be open for business! It’s the luck of the Irish and the end of a rainbow getting to Chuckanut Brewery on March 17 because there will be lots to celebrate!

St Pat Stout

North Nut in Bellingham will be dishing up it’s popular Beer Braised Corned Beef, Cabbage and Roasted Potatoes. Starting March 17 it will be on offer until sold out, but plan to get in on the 17th if you really want some Irish inspired food. Both locations will offer Stout on tap and Green Kolsch on request. Either way there’s lots of delicious beers on tap to help toast to a lucky year for all of us. North Nut in Bellingham starts serving at 12:30 and open Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays until 7 pm, Friday and Saturdays until 8 pm. At South Nut at the Port of Skagit Wednesday-Thursday Chuckanut is open 3-6 pm and 1-6 pm Friday-Sunday. Stop in for a toast to a better year ahead this St Patrick’s Day, cheers!

Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen, located at 601 West Holly St, Bellingham, was awarded the National Small Brewpub/Brewer of the Year 2009 and National Small Brewery/Brewer of the Year 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival. Currently, both brewery locations offer outdoor heated seating (covered and waterside) for guests of all ages. A full food menu is available at North Nut for to-go, in-house and delivery (in Bellingham). The South Nut Tap Room at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington is located at the Port of Skagit for beer garden enjoyment and curbside pick up. Both locations are open to guests of all ages Wednesday-Sunday and beer by appointment on Monday & Tuesday: North Nut (Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday 12:30-7 pm and Friday-Saturday 12:30-8 p.m.) and South Nut (Wednesday-Thursday 3-6 pm and Friday-Sunday 1-6 p.m.) during Covid.         We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
