As Bellingham Beer Week draws closer, it’s time to set your schedule. You will definitely want to include Chuckanut Brewery's events in the back covered patio at 601 W Holly St, Bellingham during the last week in April.
Starting Sunday April 21, show your support of Bellingham breweries by wearing a T-shirt from one of the many Bellingham breweries and receive a $4 pint.
On Monday, April 22, Earth Day, local beer writers Rachel Wood and Bandon Fralic will talk about their “Beer Hiking Pacific NW” book at 7 p.m. They will also have the books for sale and sign them at your request.
Wednesday, April 24 members of the Whatcom Symphony will present Classical on Tap at 7 p.m. The event will include talking about and playing classical music as a way of introducing those who have never considered listening to this genre of music. For those that love it and want to know more, the event is not only educational but fun. Executive Director, Gail Ridenour will talk about the pieces of music, its history and the musicians that are performing the pieces. She always leaves plenty of time for questions about the music being performed.
New this year is the first Chuckanut Ping Pong Tournament Thursday, April 25 starting at 6 p.m. Sign up with spencer@chuckanutbrewery.com or show up to get a slot. It’s free and guaranteed to be crazy.
