Three-time ACM and CMA Vocal Group of the Year OLD DOMINION, presented by Manna Insurance Group, will take the stage as part of the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series Friday, August 20, 2021. The Grammy-nominated group rounds out the Northwest Washington Fair’s 2021 concert announcements, delivering hits “One Man Band,” “Written in the Sand,” and “Snapback.” With eight Number 1 singles at country radio, over one billion on-demand streams, and several Platinum and Gold single certifications, the band promise to deliver a world-class performance.
“We promised this would be our biggest show yet,” CEO Chris Pickering said in a release. “And it will be, from number of concert-goers to production value.” The Fair will be moving their stage back for the performance, allowing an additional 2,500 guests to fill the standing-room only dirt arena. Pickering referenced a recent CDC masking guidance update that places concertgoing in the ‘Safest’ activity category for fully-vaccinated, masked adults. “We’re holding out hope that there will be no restrictions come August,” Pickering added, noting announcements from California and New York City lifting restrictions in the coming months.
The 2021 Northwest Washington Fair will run August 12-21 with a new 10-day format. OLD DOMINION tickets will be available to the Fair’s emais subscribers Wednesday, May 12 and to the public Friday, May 14 at nwwafair.com.
