Renowned Hip-Hop Artists Ja Rule and Fat Joe to Perform at the Northwest Washington Fair This August

Hip Hop legends, Ja Rule and Fat Joe, are making their Lynden debut this summer at The Northwest Washington Fair. These two artists will bring their top hits on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM, part of the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series. Presented by Rhema Electric.

Ja Rule first entered the scene in 1999 with his debut album Venni Vetti Cecci, which became a platinum-selling album, and its lead single ‘Holla Holla’. From there, his success grew rapidly. From 1999 to 2005, Ja Rule had multiple hits that made the top 20 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, including "Between Me and You" (featuring Christina Milian), "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" and "Ain't It Funny" (both with Jennifer Lopez)—which both topped the Hot 100—the number 1 hit "Always on Time" (featuring Ashanti), and "Mesmerize" (featuring Ashanti). This award-nominated artist has released chart-topping albums and hit songs that have resulted in countless fans in the United States and around the world.

Fat Joe is a Grammy-nominated recording artist that hails from the Bronx, New York. With an acclaimed career that has spanned four different decades, Fat Joe has cemented his legacy as a hip-hop heavyweight, having amassed several multiplatinum and gold studio albums, mixtapes, singles, and collaborations, including “Lean Back,” “What’s Luv,” “Make It Rain,” and “All The Way Up,” among countless others. In addition to his success as a recording artist, he has recently become an author, actor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and media personality, adding to his impressive list of accomplishments.

Tickets for Ja Rule and Fat Joe go on sale this Friday, March 20, at 9:00 AM. Grandstand reserved tickets are $55, preferred tickets are $70, and preferred chairs are $80. Prices do not include gate admission, which is required and sold separately, unless purchasing VIP tickets. VIP tickets are $210 and include the best seats in the house, a premium parking pass, gate admission, dinner provided by Silver Reef Casino Resort, and a full no-host bar.
