Stones Throw Brewery Hosts Valentine's Community Puzzle & Game Day, Live Music, and Fundraiser in Fairhaven

This Valentine’s Day, Stones Throw Brewery invites the community to celebrate connection, creativity, and compassion with a full day of activities on Saturday, February 14, blending puzzles and games, live music, and a meaningful fundraiser in Fairhaven.

From 12–5pm, Stones Throw Brewery will host Find Your Missing Piece, a low-key community game and puzzle day inspired by the brewery’s ongoing Missing Piece Mondays puzzle series. For this special Valentine’s edition, all puzzles featured so far this year will return for a one-day replay challenge. Guests are invited to help piece them together while enjoying board games, cozy seating, and a welcoming atmosphere for individuals, friends, families, and couples alike. Hidden prizes will be tucked into select puzzles, adding a playful surprise element throughout the day. The event is drop-in, free, and open to all ages. Galley2Go Food Truck will be onsite for food options, and all outside food is welcome as well.

In the evening, the brewery will shift gears with live music from Fickle Spring from 6–8pm, offering a relaxed soundtrack to Valentine’s night in Fairhaven.

In addition, there will be a family-friendly “Skip the Flowers, Send Hope Instead” Valentine’s fundraiser from 5–9pm, donating 10% of brewery profits to support a local nurse’s upcoming trip to Kenya. Funds raised will help her assist in running a medical clinic at an orphanage, providing care and essential resources to children in need.

Together, the day’s events reflect Stones Throw Brewery’s commitment to fostering community connection while supporting meaningful causes, offering an alternative Valentine’s experience rooted in togetherness rather than tradition.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
