Project We Beam Treasure Hunt

Join From a Child’s Point of View and Bellingham Youth Media Project for a PROJECT WE BEAM Treasure Hunt during ALL IN for Climate Action Week September 20th through the 26th. Everyone is invited to offer their ideas to fix problems caused by climate change. The PROJECT WE BEAM Treasure Hunt will be displayed in two locations in Bellingham — the Children’s Library on the lower floor of the Bellingham Public Library and in Mallard Ice Cream.

The PROJECT WE BEAM Treasure Hunt is presented on a 4’x8’ mural. The mural asks kids and everyone else to join the Treasure Hunt: Can you find what the kids in the mural are saying about climate change? To win a special PROJECT WE BEAM treasure coin, children, teens, and adults submit their idea or drawing of an invention that they imagine will fix the effects of climate change. The PROJECT WE BEAM collectible coin is a symbol of what our real treasure is: human ideas, inventions, and innovation. All of us are in this together to design our shared future on planet Earth.

This event is part of the City of Bellingham’s ALL IN for Climate Action Week. Find a full list of events.
