Registration Is Open for the Mt. Baker Hill Climb

Whatcom Events is pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2025 Mt. Baker Hill Climb.

Registration for the September 14th Mt Baker Hill Climb is open and we currently have 159 racers signed up. This event is capped at 450 total riders and the event has sold out the last two years. Save $10 per rider if you register by March 31st.

This year, we’ve launched registration early in conjunction with an exciting milestone: our recent recognition by Gran Fondo Guide. Not only has the Mt. Baker Hill Climb been ranked as the #8 Gran Fondo in North America, but we’ve also been named the #1 Hill Climb in North America!

We’re incredibly honored to receive these accolades, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing cycling community that makes this event so special.

Check out Gran Fondo Guide’s Top 10 USA Cycling Hill Climb Challenges for 2025 and Top 10 North American Gran Fondos for 2025 to see how we stack up!

Secure your spot for this challenging and scenic ride up Mt. Baker. Register today and join us for an unforgettable ride!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
