Shifting Gears Presents the 6th Annual ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ - Bellingham’s Original Cider Festival

Shifting Gears, the Bellingham non-profit dedicated to empowering all women through outdoor recreation and education, is proud to announce the 2026 ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ Festival. The sixth year of Bellingham’s largest celebration of autumn and cider will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 2-7pm at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Historic Fairhaven.

The lineup of diverse ciders from across the Pacific Northwest includes Lost Giants Cider Company (Bellingham, WA), Bellingham Cider Co. (Bellingham, WA), Terramar Brewstillery (Cider - Edison, WA), Greenwood Cider Company (Seattle, WA), Offset Cider Works (Seattle, WA), and hard seltzer from Stone’s Throw Brewery (Bellingham, WA). More cideries will be announced on the Shifting Gears website in the weeks leading up to the event. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available to purchase. The food truck Sawyer and Pals will be onsite to serve farm-fresh, seasonally inspired eats, and Antler Baking will have goodies available for sale as well.

In addition to sampling ciders from across the Pacific Northwest, attendees can enjoy music throughout the event, yard-style games, pumpkin painting (with all supplies included), Hip Hop dancing by Move with Ranae, and much more. Your entry ticket includes drink tickets and admission to our exciting door prize.

Bellingham’s original cider fest is a great way to celebrate, sip, and give back - come support Shifting Gears through the 50/50 raffle, Shifting Gears/Sippin’ On Cider Merchandise, pumpkin painting, or by sharing the event with your friends.

Regular entry tickets are $40 and include a 4oz taster glass and eight drink tickets, and a door prize ticket. VIP tickets are $60 and include a limited edition ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ 4oz taster glass, a Shifting Gears koozie, 10 drink tickets, two extra door prize tickets, and a pumpkin to paint at the event. Early Bird ticket prices are $10 less until October 1st. Active Service Members/Veterans and Students (over 21) receive a $5 discount. All proceeds from tickets, raffle and merchandise sales will support Shifting Gears programs focused on breaking down barriers that stand between all women and their outdoor aspirations.

Tickets are on sale now, and will be sold online through 10/16. Day-of tickets will be sold at the door. Last year nearly sold out, Shifting Gears strongly encouraged purchasing tickets early to ensure admission. This event is 21+. Dogs are unfortunately not permitted.
