Tour de Whatcom Registration Is Now Open
Whatcom Events is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 21st annual Tour de Whatcom. The event is Saturday, July 18th.
The Tour de Whatcom starts and finishes this year at Kulshan Trackside/Portal Village in Downtown Bellingham. This untimed, social ride offers something for every level of cyclists and every member of the family. Riders get to see everything: Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lush farmland, and beaches all in one fairly level ride.
Any individual may register for either the 22, 44, 62 or 100-mile rides. Current prices vary from $45-70 per person and prices will increase $10 per rider after April 15th. There are also reduced prices for tandem riders and for families (living in the same household or directly related) of three - six riders. Riders must be at least 10 years old for safety reasons. Details on the ride and registration can be found on our website.
The number of participants ranges from 650-850 riders annually, with the majority choosing the Metric Century and Century routes. All riders will receive a free digital participation photo and courtesy use of the bike corral at the finish line.
A portion of proceeds from the 2026 event go to Incite Cycles, local Girl Scout Troops and school programs.
Whatcom Events aims to host and sustain environmentally mindful world-class events showcasing recreational opportunities in Whatcom County.
