Western Washington University to Offer Summer Youth Programs for Grades K-12
Western Washington University will again offer a wide array of programs for kids in grades K-12 throughout summer 2017. For the past 35 years, Western’s youth programs have encouraged kids to explore a favorite topic and consider opportunities in higher education. Participants experience hands-on learning and gain exposure to a college campus under the instruction of Western’s top-quality educators. Below are the programs being offered this summer:
- College Quest (entering grades 10- 12)
- Global Connections (entering grades 4-6)
- Grandparents “U” (entering grades 1-8)
- Odyssey of Science and Arts (entering grades 4-9)
- Summer English Adventure Camp at WWU (ages 11-17)
- Summer Youth Theatre Institute (entering grades 1-6)
- Summerwinds (entering grades 6-12)
- Suzuki Violin (ages 4-15)
- Western Kids Camp (entering grades 1-6)
- Western Inspires Leadership Development (WILD)(entering grades 6-12)
- WWU Lakewood Jr. Sailing Camp (entering grades 6-12)
