The Camp Out to End Family Homelessness is a FUNdraiser, an upbeat event open to everyone–individuals, families, youth groups, and more.
Family-friendly festivities include live music showcasing the fantastic The Sweet Goodbyes, with Amber Darland and Lisa Harmon and sing-alongs with local musicians. There will be games, skits, and a s’mores bar. Prizes will be awarded to champion fundraisers.
Bring a chair and a blanket for dining and singing around the “campfire.” Once the festivities end, campers can spend the night sleeping in their vehicles or tents. Another option is to participate in the festivities (and FUNdraising!), but going home when we turn in for the night.
The Camp Out kicks off with check-in and registration at 5pm Friday, June 28 and runs through 10am Saturday morning. Registration fee per camp unit (vehicle or tent) includes a camp unit leader T-shirt, additional shirts $10 each; dinner of hamburgers, hotdogs, and chili on Friday; and a pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday.
Funds support the Family Promise program needs in Whatcom County. Make a difference in the lives of Whatcom County children and their families experiencing homelessness. Register today!
