You finally got that fancy digital camera you’ve wanted for so long, and now you’re ready to capture wonderful places, colorful cultures, and breathtaking scenery. To make the processes of shooting and curating your photos simple, Seattle-area photographer Juan Aguilera will show you how to approach the work as though you were using recipes from a cookbook.
Looking at photography as a process of gathering ingredients, Juan will help you learn to create a feast for the eyes. Let these recipes and your vision guide you in becoming a veritable chef of photography, serving up compelling narratives and scrumptious compositions.
In this installment Juan will go over three important aspects of digital photography:
1. A Snapshot vs. a Photograph (appetizer or entree?)
2. Using the Illusion of Light (the key ingredient in any photo)
3. The Narrative of an Image (balancing your flavors)
At the end of this online course, you’ll have new tips, tricks and confidence to explore the limitless possibilities of digital photography and create your own masterpieces!
If you can’t make this specific date or time, you can still register and we will send you a link to view the class on your own time! All registrants will have access to the class recording for a limited time after the program.
