Event Details:

Downtown Sounds was created to celebrate live music and community connection in Downtown Bellingham… even during a global pandemic. This summer, Downtown Sounds will work to #SaveOurStages and support venues in our city center.

Local music venues are in danger of closing their doors as they face months of lost revenue from the COVID-19 crisis. No, we won’t be gathering at Bay and Prospect Street this year, but we will be supporting the music scene that has contributed to years of free summer concerts in our downtown streets.

Three Wednesdays in August, a different beloved Bellingham venue will host a virtual Downtown Sounds concert to #SaveOurStages. Would you normally be enjoying beer or wine at a live show? Consider donating that $5 to our venue support fund. Want Downtown Sounds to happen next year? Support the DBP by purchasing merch, becoming a Downtown Insider, or donating directly to our organization. And as always, we are very grateful for the support of WECU for sponsoring this virtual version of Downtown Sounds, continuing to prove that we are in this together!

SCHEDULE:
August 12: Petty or Not hosted by the Wild Buffalo
August 19: Mostafa Live Band & Dryland hosted by The Shakedown
August 26: Hot Damn Scandal hosted by Boundary Bay Brewery
