Bellingham’s Best Happy Hour Spots

Life doesn't get much happier than when you're sharing a happy hour drink with friends. We've rounded up a list of our favorite happy hour deals in Bellingham, plus a few bonus happy hours located outside of town. From discounted bottles of wine to small bites that won't break the bank, these restaurants and bars offer screaming deals to get your evening started off right. Cheers!

Fermented honey, anyone? Head to this meadery located in the Granary Building in Downtown Bellingham's waterfront district to enjoy a refreshing beverage with friends. Don't forget to take a bottle home!

When: 4-6pm Thursday - Friday and ALL DAY Sunday!

What: $2 off glasses

B-Town offers one of the happiest happy hour deals in town. Located in the Four Points by Sheraton, B-Town delivers delicious small plates perfect for sharing with a group. Their martinis, in flavors like Washington raspberry and gummi bear, are certain to boost your mood. 

When: 3-6pm daily 

What: $10 shaker martinis; $6 draft beers; $5 house wines; discounted small plates like crispy brussels sprouts, almond dusted calamari, crab cakes, and parmesan-truffle salt fries. 

Bellingham Cider Company is a staple in downtown Bellingham's restaurant scene. They offer fresh ciders in satisfying flavors (order a flight to try a few), along with a menu featuring pizzas, burgers, pastas, and locally sourced veggies. Their indoor space has a ton of seating, and their outdoor patio looks out over sparkling Bellingham Bay. 

When: 3-5pm Tuesday-Saturday 

What: $1 off cider, beer pints, and well drinks; 50% off bottled wine on Thursdays; discounted food like truffle fries and kale salad. 

After finding your next favorite novel at Village Books in Fairhaven Village, grab a table at the charming Colophon Cafe. Choose from cozy indoor seating or find a table outside, perfect for people watching on the Village Green. Enjoy sandwiches, salads, bagels, soups, and a large selection of quality coffee and tea drinks.

When: 3-6pm weekdays 

What: $2 off cocktails; $5 beer, cider, or house wine; $5 off any bottle of wine; $5 cup of soup, small salads, or potato wedges; $7 nachos or artichoke dip. 

This deco-era cocktail bar takes the craft of cocktail-making to a whole new level. Located in downtown Fairhaven Village, Galloway's offers delicious, award-winning cocktails along with sophisticated small bites. Snuggle up into a booth inside or enjoy your happy hour feast on their covered, heated outdoor patio. 

When: 3-6pm daily 

What: $8 gin & tonic, whiskey & ginger, or vodka soda. Discounted house wines, draft beers, and small bites.

Make your happy hour extra happy with views of Bellingham Bay at this waterfront restaurant attached to the Hotel Bellwether. Happy hour options are available on the patio or in the restaurant's Sunset Lounge. 

When: 3-6pm Tuesday-Friday and ALL DAY Monday 

What: $1 off house wine, draft beer, and well drinks; $8 Bartender’s Signature Cocktail of the Day, discounted salads, apps, and small bites  

Come to The Black Cat in downtown Fairhaven Village for the ambiance, stay for the mouthwatering food. This casual American-style bistro is located on the third floor of the historic Sycamore Square building, which means many of the tables offer views of Fairhaven and Bellingham Bay. 

When: 3-6pm Monday – Thursday 

What: Food discounts including $15 petit fondue and bottle of wine; $5 OG burger; $5 French onion soup; $2 oyster shooter; $7 fish & chips.

Head to Zeeks for their delicious pizza, large selection of local craft brews, and plenty of seating for the whole family or a big table of friends! You can also catch the game on flat screens positioned around the restaurant. 

When: 4-5pm Mondays and Tuesdays and 2-5pm Wednesday- Friday

What: $5 draft pints, $7 glasses of wine, $7 margaritas, $8 breadsticks, $12 wings and $12 mini pies.  

Northern Italian fare meets the Pacific Northwest at this newly revamped wine bar in Ferndale, WA. Their menu features authentic Italian dishes sure to please, but Leader Block is most known for their award-winning list of wines sourced from Italy and the Pacific Northwest. 

When: 4-6pm at the bar only 

What: $2 off well drinks and select beers; select glasses of wine $4-$8; discounted apps, small bites, and main courses including bruschetta, antipasto, and mini lasagna. 

You don't have to be a guest at Semiahmoo Resort to eat at Packers Kitchen & Bar, but why not treat yourself to an overnight getaway while you're there?? Packers offers fresh seafood, burgers, and hand-crafted pizzas, along with stunning views of serene Semiahmoo Bay. 

When: 3-4pm daily 

What: Discounted pizzas (including dessert s'more pizza), as well as discounted beer, wine, cider, and select craft cocktails.
